i dislike blogging

This is a poem or passage i guess, from J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Lord of The Rings", partially transcribed from Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice".  Now, i know everybody has at least one or two famous or infamous quotes that they love and maybe even try to live by.  Not me.  I love an eloquent and interesting quote from time to time, but i usually don't go hunting them out and posting them all over my mirror, making a scrapbook out of them, or posting them all over the internet.  The first reason I decided to put up this quote, is because Tolkien has a special place in my heart.  Growing up I was a fervent reader and this stemmed from my parents reading to me.  The second book series that my dad ever read to me was LOTR, in kindergarten (maybe thats why im a little crazy, elves killing orces who are serving a giant eye who is trying to get a little gold ring from a midget and his cherubic friend who are being followed around by a malnourished gremlin-like creature who found the ring in a river which is now the most important thing on earth and is coveted by all and trying to be destroyed by a few..).  I just remember him reading those books and being so happy and content and not thinking about anything else, i really was immersed in his reading and tolkiens writing.  The second reason i decided to put up this quote is because i like the fact that it can be interpreted in a mishmash of ways.  I'm not going to tell what i get out of this quote because i don't want it to influence what anyone else extracts from it, but every time i look at it i spend about 10 minutes in a day dream thinking about it.  OR, maybe it doesn't have any metaphorical and/or emblematic meaning and it's just talking about how Aragon is enormously more important than he first seems, the rangers are actually not roaming vagabonds and that they protect from evil, frodo must endure to destroy the ring and last and in the end he will be renewed... that wouldn't be as fun though now would it?
